This screenshot (click to see it bigger) from a Playstation Underground email sent to US PS3 owners says that the highly anticipated game LittleBigPlanet could be out almost 2 weeks early in the US.
The game was originally pinned for a 21st October release in the US and 24th October in the UK.
This could just be a typo, but lets hope not.

Kotaku has reported that there is a company selling an unlicensed replica of the Energy Sword found in Halo 3. If the image above is any indication, this looks about as realistic as it gets. Retailing at a mere $49.99, this bargain looks like a wet dream to any Master Cheif fanatic…shame they’re only sold in America

The NPD Group has released the latest 360 software sales figures for the U.S.A., and there are a couple of surprises in there. While no one’s going to be confused by a top three consisting of GTAIV, Call of Duty IV and Madden, the games in fourth and fifth place are Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Army of Two, respectively. If nothing else this comprehensively proves that Americans really, really like guns.

Criterion Games has released its update for Burnout Paradise on PS3 which adds Trophy support.
Dozens of trophy challenges have been added, including awards for both the Cagney and Bike update content.
Unfortunately, the trophies aren’t retroactive although Criterion said they would be.
“We had hoped to use this to retroactively award trophies, but we discovered during testing that this is not possible,” admitted Criterion.
”If you’re familiar with PS3 trophies already, you’ll recognise that this works in the same way as all other games that have added trophy support post-release,” it added.

Marvel series, The Punisher, is coming to PSN in the form of Punisher: No Mercy, developed by Zen Studios.
The PS3 exclusive will be an arena-based multiplayer FPS, running on Unreal Engine 3 – and promises to look the part.
“Our main focus is to create an awesome online multiplayer experience with the style and grit from the Punisher’s world, complete with characters like Jigsaw, Bushwacker, Barracuda and even Silver Sable,” said Zen Studios managing director, Zsolt Kigyossy (pronounce that one).
All that exists of the game so far is the Logo you can see at the top of the post.
Something called the Sonic Genesis Collection has appeared on amazon.com and if retail sources are to be believed it’s a Retro Sonic Collection for PS3 and 360.
If it’s real, it’ll hopefully include Sonic 1,2 and 3 plus more of the original Sonic titles. Maybe even some titles such as Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic CD and Sonic Spinball.
Sega have released a few compilations over the years so it’s possible this could be true, although Sega refuse to comment at the moment.
