Sony anounced that there will be lots of new games for the PSP. A portable version of rockband, Motorstorm, and little big planet. Sony says that you might be able to connect and play together on the PSP with little big planet. They are still working on making it like the PS3 version , create, connect, and share. Since there are not many details about the game my guess is that they are still thinking about the game.
New Nintendo DSi
Nintendo have anounced they will be releasing a new nintendo DS called Nintendo DSi. It will be even more thinner, the screens will be 17% bigger than on the Nintendo DS lite. I have some bad news for GBA pokemon fans, the GBA slot will be removed. The new DSi will have a camera built into it, it will be .3 megapixel. And it will include a SD memory card so you can view your photos on the wii. On the DSi you will be able to download DS original games and keep them on the DSi. You will be able to buy the DSi on april 3rd 2009 in the UK.

Sony details new Home plans
Sony’s community manager has listed a whole load of improvements that will be made to Home sometime within the next 2 months.
So, in his words:
This week
Patch 1.11
This is a minor bug fix release and addresses a problem with Game Launching. If you opened the list of game sessions available at the same time one of the sessions launched it could cause a crash.
WATCHMEN
Two complete outfits for male characters and black & white t-shirts for male and female characters are now available for free from the Threads store. Some of the items are not quite ready and will follow on as soon as they are.
Clothing
Various items of free and purchasable clothing have been added
Whats coming soon
Street Fighter IV
The unlockable items are already available in Home and are rewarded for winning online matches in the game.
Purchasable outfits will be available within a few weeks.
Home Square
A slightly updated Home Square will arrive in early March, possibly as early as the 5th.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Space
This is currently being worked on and we hope to release this for you within a few weeks
SOCOM: CONFRONTATION Space
This Space is also nearly ready but a specific date for its release is not yet available, but we are expecting it within a few weeks.
Siren: Blood Curse & Resident Evil 5, Warhawk
Content for all of these have arrived here and are being prepared for SCEE’s audience now. We will bring you more information on these as it becomes available.
Game Launching
Many titles are preparing support for Game Launching but this often requires a patch to their title. It is not our intention to be announcing new releases and patches to other titles here in the Home community but hope to bring you news in the coming weeks.
Music within Home
Playing your own music to others within Home is an extremely complex licensing issue that will take time to solve, if it is at all possible.
In the meantime we are investigating various ways of allowing you to play your own music to yourself. We are also talking to other 3rd parties about making their music available to you in various ways.
No New Shop
If any of you were particularly waiting on the opening of our new store in Hebburn, then I’m afraid I have some bad news – it’s not opening. Long and frustrating negotiations for the shop have eventually broken down and we will no longer be be opening it. We may look at other shops in the future. For now we are going to sit tight and concentrate on the exisiting store and that should mean continued improvements.
Trivial Pursuit Gets Release Date
The video game adaptation of the classic board game, Trivial Pursuit, will have players battling it out over pie pieces on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 next month.

Killzone 2 content for LBP
Some photo’s on the PSBlog Flickr page seem to show details of an upcoming Killzone 2 themed pack for LBP.
There hasn’t been an official comment yet but the photo’s are on the official Flickr page of Sony so they definately have some truth about them.

Comedy trio The Lonely Island, best known for songs like “D*ck In A Box” and “J*zz In My Pants,” are coming to Xbox Live. This Thursday, you’ll have the opportunity to play CoD: World at War with them.
