There are seven new songs out this week for Rock Band 1 and 2:

Theres really only one song I’ll be buying this week – Don’t Stop Believin’ – and if the SpongBob pack is free I might debate getting that to get some more gold stars.

The snowblind map pack is now available for download and will cost 800 MS Points…I traded in my Gears of War 2 in a desperated attempt for money and now I feel bad, because that game was awesome. Nevertheless I know loads of you still play GoW2 so heres what you get in the pack.

• Fight in the snowy dark tunnels of Underhill.
• The industrial complex of Grind Yard…which offers bunkers for cover and high buildings for sniping.
• Courtyard…with wide open space which give you a great chance to rack up the kills when enemies have no cover…unless they get you first.
• And finally thanks to popular fan demand the GoW1 map Fuel Depot makes a return.

I can’t actually tell you much more about the pack other than what I have already said…but no doubt you will all be downloading it anyway.

There will also be new achievements worth a total of 250G.

Some clever person has recorded the first actual gameplay footage of Uncharted 2. The camera is dark and shaky but it’s there nevertheless.

I finally watched the movie last night. I’d been putting it off because the trailers looked so far fetched. However, the over-the-top stunts blended nicely with the (at times) surprisingly gratutious violence and the weak story-line (names in cloth???) didn’t detract too much from the from the film – leaving me with a rather warm and fuzzy feeling (or perhaps that was the beer).

Anyway, I also played the demo (note: only half way through) and whilst I wasn’t blown away it did seem pretty good. I’m thinking that the game probably won’t follow the film too strictly and will focus more on assassinations, hitman style?

OK so the competition is who do you think should be assassinated along the lines of the movie wanted in a bid to ‘kill one, save a thousand’? (Please refrain from racism – unless it’s against the Americans ). Winner gets a copy of Wanted on Friday.

There has been a new release in the US and soon will be in the UK. Set of 4 and colorful B-Touch Pen in different colors. It comes with the finger strap which allows you to tie it to the console. It is thicker and longer than original NDSi/NDS Lite/NDS stylus pen. I think that this is much beter than the stylus and I will totally buy it when it comes out.

In the US and japan Nintendo thinks that if they give away 1,000 DSi points anyone who purchases a DSi and signs on to the Nintendo DSi Shop by October 5 will receive 1,000 free DSi Points. It’s a succesful promotion that also accompanied the system’s Japanese launch.

Looks like sony lost for now, but as you can see sony is still doing pretty good. Yeah as I got the commet from some guy, yeah it looks like japan loves sony.

First of all, it’s been scheduled for a worldwide release date meaning that on 10/11/09, the Xbox Live and PSN servers are going to overload.

Secondly, it isn’t actually going to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. That’s right, Infinity Ward are dropping the Call of Duty title meaning the game is simply Modern Warfare 2.

Bethesda’s next-gen action RPG Fallout 3 has claimed the coveted GDC 09 Game of the Year Award at this year’s event, though it was LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule that emerged as the ceremony’s main benefactor, scooping four accolades.
