New DSi player

Posted under News by ArthurJ on 54 views

The hottest new game for the DS/DSi will be released hopefully soon in the UK with a host of features and is possibly the best so far and for Nintendos peace of mind this baby plays Homebrew and Videos only, heres the info for this cart:

DS iPlayer, iPlayer, the first hardware decode Video Player for the Nintendo DS/ DSi. The iPlayer is a slot-1 media player cart that, besides homebrew, doesn’t have any ROM loading functionality. DS iPlayer is solely intended for playing media files and homebrew. iPlay is able to play all the main format of videos such as RMVB, RM, AVI, FLV, MPG, WMV on DS, and no converting, allowing you watching movies and listening to music on DS more convenient.

New Monster Hunter Info

Posted under News by ArthurJ on 47 views

As I wrote earlier saying I downloaded the monster hunter demo, I found some more information on this game becasue just from the demo this game looks amazing heres some information about it:

In a barbaric world, it’s a case of hunter and the hunted, and you have to make sure that you remain the former rather than the latter, especially as the game enables you to hunt online with four-player wireless co-operative or battle modes. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 really comes into its own when played with other wannabe huntsmen, as team-building and strategies can be worked upon. The single player aspect is ideal for increasing your personal hunting skills for use later in the proceedings. Your character is fully customizable, and you can build up your abilities with armour, weaponry and the most important aspect of all: experience. There are scores of quests available initially, and thanks to the infrastructure functionality, there is more content and there are more quests available for download.

Now this game is really good for a PSP game. The graphics are awesome and the monsters are better than ever. I would totally recommend you to get the demo for this game then buy it becasue you might not like it. But if you enjoyed the original monster hunters as much as I did then you should buy this.

PS3: ‘Euro gamers consider features, not price’

Posted under News by Jake Rowe on 25 June 2009 47 views

People in Europe consider the features of the PS3 more important than the price claims SCEE president Andrew House.

Speaking, once again, on the burning issue of a PS3 price-drop, House said: “Not to harp on about it, but the PlayStation 3 has a ten-year life cycle and there are issues of cost and profitability.

We will make that move on price when all those factors are aligned,” he added, before going on to say: “Would people buy more when they are cheaper? Of course. But on the other hand there is an inherent marketing challenge.

“In Europe I think people do see the value of the machine, the Blu-Ray and network services and take that all into consideration instead of just focusing on price. But we will look at price and will address it when the time is right,”

Well all this may be true, but I think some of us would like these features for just a tad bit less.

Professor Layton game and a DS lite gift.

Posted under News by ArthurJ on 55 views

That’s the first Professor Layton game. And a DS Lite. Despite the current availability of a new DS system, and the impending launch of a new Professor Layton game, Nintendo is planning a UK release of a bundle containing a black DS Lite and the extremely popular first Professor Layton game, due in stores June 19.

MCV suggests that it’s being positioned as a Father’s Day bundle, I think this would be great as a fathers day gift. Or maybe a good birthday present for a friend.
